Mixed media Embroidery Hoop

eccomi qui di nuovo sul blog per mostrarvi il mio ultimo progetto mixed media, questa volta creato per il DT di Kora Projects.

Hi everyone!

I'm here again on my blog to show you my last mixed media project, this time created for Kora Projects' Dt. 

Ho scelto due carte dalle collezioni di Kora Projects e ho creato alcune striscie, che ho coperto con uno strato sottile di gesso. Sul cerchio invece ho fissato un pezzo di cotone bianco, su cui ho stesso prima del gesso poi della texture paste mischiata con le art stones di Finnabair Studio.

For the background I choose two patterned papers from Kora Projects collections and made some stripes and covered them with a light coat of white gesso. On the hoop I fixed a piece of white cotton, then I brushed in order with gesso, texture paste mixed with art stones.

Mentre il cerchio stata asciugando ho scelto alcune chipboard, che ho preparato con uno strato di gesso per la farfalla mentre il frame e il sentiment "Beautiful" li ho embossati con le polverine.

While my hoop was drying I choose some chipboard that I prepared with white gesso for the butterfly and embossing powder for the frame and the "beautiful" text.

Then I colored my background very lightly with spray colors from 13Arts and glued my stripes of papers, my chipboards, flowers and other embellishments and stickers from 7 Dots Studio. 

Infine ho incollato alcuni piccoli abbellimenti e ho intensificato i colori in alcuni punti per donare maggiore profondità alla mia creazione.

Come tocco finale ho applicato piccole paillettes glitterate e ho fatto sgocciolare del colore bianco liquido.

Finally I glued other embellishments and I've intensified the colors on some points to give more depht to my creation

As final touch I fixed some glitter paillettes and made some splatters with white liquid watercolor

Mixed media canvas Together is the best place to be

eccomi di nuovo qui per mostrarvi una nuova tela mixed media, creata questa volta come guest DT per il blog di 13arts. 

Hi everyone! 

I'm here again to show you my new mixed media canvas, this time created as guest DT for 13arts' blog. 

Ho incollato un pezzo di carta patterned sulla tela, ho applicato dei pezzi di washi tapes e in seguito ho spennellato del gesso bianco diluito. 

I glued a piece of patterned paper on the canvas, I applied some pieces of washi tapes and then I brushed the white chalk very diluted. 

Dopo aver fatto degli stencil con la texture paste ho spruzzato dei colori per lo sfondo e ho stratificato i miei abbellimenti. 

After making the stencil with the texture paste I sprayed some colors for the background and I stratified my embellishments.

Come tocco finale ho fatto sgocciolare una vernice glitter dorata

As final touch I dripped some droplets with a glitter golden paint

today I want to show you my last mixed media canvas, created as guest DT for this month's challenge on ArtPalyground blog.... It was a real honor for me! 

Ho creato questa tela utilizzando materiali dalla bellissima collezione Zella Teal di Prima Marketing, vari fustellati, scritte adesive di 13Arts  e colori e glass beads di Finnabair Studio. 

I created this canvas using  materials from the beautiful Zella Teal collection of Prima Marketing, various die cuts, 13Arts adhesive lettering, colors and glass beads of Finnabair Studio.

Mixed media canvas "The Beach & You"

utilizzare le conchiglie nei miei progetti mixed media mi è piaciuto moltissimo, cosi ho creato anche questa tela

Hi there,

I really enjoyed to use seashells on my mixed media project so I created this canvas 

Ho utilizzato sulla tela prima della pasta bianca con effetto cracklè poi ho fatto degli stencil. Ho incollato le conchiglie insieme alle Art Stones di Prima Marketing e una volta asciutto ho spennellato con il gesso bianco.

On the canvas I've used before the cracklè white paste then I've made bubbles stencil. I've glued the seashells together with the  Prima Marketing's Art Stones and once it was dry I've brushed the white chalk. 

Ho colorato con i colori spray cercando di consentrare il colore solo sulla mia composizione e lasciando il resto della tela bianco. 

I've colored with the spray mist only on the composition of embellishments and leaving white the rest of the canvas. 

Ho completato la tela con abbellimenti, fiori, fustellati e glass beads. 

I've finished the canvas with a lot of embellishments, flowers, diecuts and glass beads

Ho utilizzato una palette colori che mi piace molto (rosa, nero, bianco e un tocco di oro) e prodotti di Prima Marketing, 7DotsStudio, Finnabair Studio e Gansai Tambi per gli acquarelli

I've used a colour palette that I like very much (rose, black, white with a touch of gold) and products by Prima Marketing, 7DotsStudio, Finnabair Studio and Gansai Tambi for the watercolors.
